With the Lua IxD team we are developing an interactive rearprojected table that uses images processing to recognize touches and objects. Several application have been developed:
– a table to browse the program of a conference, using tangibles associated with speakers. This was used during the conference Frontiers of Interactions 2010
– a game to to discover information about Rome. This was shorn at the Rome museum of contemporary arts (MACRO Testaccio) in 2011
– a table to browse clothes catalogues. The tangible is made of fabric so the users can feel it and see the real colour. Drawing it on the table the system shows all the clothes made with a certain fabric
